My first experience with introductory astronomy labs was as an undergraduate lab assistant. Helping the graduate student lab instructors revealed how enjoyable it is to share my love for astronomy. As a graduate student at the University of Iowa, I regularly taught the introductory labs of “Stars, Galaxies, and the Universe” and “Exploration of the Solar System.” More recently, I was the lab instructor for the Villanova University introductory mechanics course for physics majors.
A highlight of my teaching and outreach experience is:
Teaching:
Lab Instructor: PHY 2411 Mechanics, Villanova University, Fall 2023
Lab Instructor: ASTR:1070 Stars, Galaxies & the Universe, University of Iowa, 2020 — 2021
Lab Instructor: ASTR:1080 Exploration of the Solar System, University of Iowa, 2020 — 2021
Outreach:
